Kinross High School in Scotland held a celebration of women on Friday 7th March. Mothers, daughters and friends from the high school's community joined together to think about women around the world.
Soroptomists joined the bazar of women showing their traditional crafts and customs. Food sampling was accompanied by a string quartet. Story teller, Jess, a group of dancers and dialogue from "The Steamie" entertained the audience.
More than a hundred girls joined the belly dancer on stage. This fabulous event was masterminded and organised by Pat Doran, community link worker, who gained sponsorship from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
