Public-Private Partnerships to Combat Domestic Violence in Bahrain

January 21st, Vital Voices was featured in the Gulf Daily News for our work to combat domestic violence in Bahrain and the rest of the Middle East.

With support from public and private sectors alike, we will continue working with local shelters and organizations in Bahrain and Jordan that support abuse victims, to co-ordinate their activities and create a national framework for combating domestic violence.

Today’s story was published just before a meeting at the Bahrain Women’s Union in A’ali on Saturday, January 24th. NGOs, the public and private sectors are invited to attend and those interested in supporting these efforts can contact 17795785.
