UNDP Introduces Global Photography Campaign: Humanizing Development
With the launch of a new global photography campaign, UNDP features “people winning the battle against poverty, social exclusion and marginalization,” and intends to raise awareness of the progress being made through development programs, as UNDP explains. Providing a contrast to those photographs that can overwhelm and demoralize, even desensitize us to situations of extreme poverty, the campaign will highlight positive reform in exhibits around the world.
All photographers, advocates and members of the public are encouraged to participate by submitting their own photographs documenting the successes of development efforts globally.
