A very big thank you to the Vital Voices Global Partnership, Idea builders, Exxon Mobil and all the numerous sponsors that made it possible for me and others to be a part the 2009 Mentoring program. For me it was an experience that would linger in my memory for a long time. It all started with the mentoring walk which kicked off at about nine o’clock in the morning.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the weather was just right as we moved from Exxon Mobil office through the Ozumba Nbadiwe road on the Victoria Island back to the take off point. Residents, passers-by and motorists stood in amazement as we strode majestically with all the necessary protocols on standby. The walk was really exciting as it afforded (the mentees) a rare opportunity to meet and chat with successful women across various industries as well as the ExxonMobil women.
It was fun all through.
