About: Emily
- Emily Fisher joined Vital Voices in September of 2008 as an intern in the Middle East North Africa department. In addition to researching the status of women and domestic violence in several MENA countries, she has provided general assistance for many of the department’s programs. She has been particularly active in fundraising for the Initiative for Women Leaders Building Peace and Prosperity. As an undergraduate student majoring in government at Georgetown University, Emily is especially interested in the human rights culture. She hopes to pursue that interest after her graduation in May.
