About: Eva

Eva Muraya was appointed CEO of Color Creations Ltd in 2002 following the merger with Taurus Afrika which she had co-founded in 2001. Ms Muraya brought with her over 15 years multi-skilled top management experience covering sales, marketing, advertising and communications, drawn from leading companies in the field including BAT Kenya, The Standard Group, and FedEx. With a staff of over 80, Color Creations Ltd produces state-of-the-art advertising and promotional merchandise through the development of a wide range of screen-printed and embroidered products using a mix of manual and automated equipment. The product range includes T-shirts, polo shirts, wheel covers, hats and caps, aprons, casual jackets, sports uniforms, bags and umbrellas available on both the local and regional markets. Eva joined the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network in 2006 as a participant in the 2006 FORTUNE/US State Department Global Women's Mentoring Partnership in collaboration with Vital Voices. Since this time she has been actively involved in our organization's Africa program as a member of the Vital Voices Africa Advisory Board. She has also engaged in a number of programs focusing on women's economic empowerment throughout internationally and throughout the region.
